The Accounts from the Front exhibition is going on tour!

Following on from the exhibition’s success at the Albert Park-South Melbourne Rowing Club, Grace’s exhibition of letters, memoirs, and eye-witness accounts showcases the experiences of club members who enlisted in World War One.

Revamped for display at the Emerald Hill Library and Heritage Centre, the exhibition will incorporate Grace’s research on the South Melbourne Town Hall Honour Board, which contains many names from the Albert Park and South Melbourne Rowing Clubs’ lists.  The exhibition will also contain items from the Port Phillip City Collection as well as Grace’s original research from club records, Trove, the Australian War Memorial, the National Archives of Australia, and the AIF Project.

Supported by the City of Port Phillip through the Cultural Development Fund, the exhibition will open at the Emerald Hill Library and Heritage Centre on Saturday, 11th November 2017 from 10am-12pm.  The exhibition will close on Monday, 22nd January, 2018.

Entry is free.  For catering purposes, please register on Eventbrite or by calling Anne Scambary at the Emerald Hill Heritage Centre on 03 9209 6416.
