Grace has successfully applied for a $9,455 grant from the Victorian Veterans Council through the Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour program.  This grant will pay for conservation treatment and transport costs for the South Melbourne Rowing Club’s World War One and World War Two honour boards.  As grant writer for this application, Grace consulted with the remaining members of South Melbourne and the current committee of the now amalgamated Albert Park-South Melbourne Rowing Club.  She also sourced relevant quotes from appropriate suppliers.  This project will be completed in 2017.
